Traveling with a child can be very confusing. When I booked my flight from LAX to PHL my first thought was, “OMG what am I going to pack for Chloe?” I simply didn’t know and the usually very useful Pinterest was no help. My trip was only for 10 days so, umm, why would I check-in a pack and play or insect repellent? It gave me a headache that I did not need especially with 20 days left until my trip.
So, I made a list.
(Who else loves list? I’m obsessed.)
Anyways, I listed everything that I would normally use on a daily basis and what I would normally take with me on family outings. It seriously relieved the headache that I had and I was now ready to go through my list, pick out the items and place them in my check-in bag.
I know that most first time mom’s probably go through the same when it’s time to take a trip so my advice is to not overthink. A lot of the times, if you forget something, you can purchase the item at your local convenience store. The most important things that you’ll need are diapers, wipes, clothes and personal hygiene items for your baby, however, if you need an actual list like I do, I’ve shared my Baby’s Packing List that you can download. Au revoir! 🙂
